If you had trouble accessing your CDF account during the lab, but your account did exist, please send me e-mail to discuss the situation.
If you joined the course too late for your CDF account to exist in time to do lab 1, you can do it after your CDF account is created, as follows.
First of all, do lab 1. If you need TA assistance, there are TAs in BA 2210 on a drop-in basis at certain scheduled times listed in tahours.html. But you can go to the CDF labs at any time, as described on the lab 1 handout.
Your deadline for completing the graded portion of lab 1 is two days after your CDF account is created. For example, if your CDF account is created on Monday, you must complete lab 1 by the end of Wednesday. Exception: If your CDF account was created on a Friday, you have until the end of the subsequent Monday (three days later) to complete lab 1. Please ask me if you're not sure what your deadline is.
After you submit the two lab 1 files, you must send me (ajr) e-mail, just as with any late course work in this course. State that you joined the course late, that you have just submitted lab 1, and what your CDF account name is. Note: The e-mail must be sent after you have submitted your files.
Any questions or concerns, please ask me by e-mail, or in my regular Wednesday office hours, or just come up to talk to me after a lecture if there's time.
